Cornerstone approached myself and my team with the task of assessing their current site architecture and recommending a solution to simplify & redesign their site gradually, and without having a jarring impact on current users, including students, staff and parents.
A holistic approach
In order to begin redesigning the Cornerstone University site, we had to assess the current structure and decide how we could approach the site piece by piece. Over time pages had just been added to the site and created a confusing architecture and navigation that involved dead ends and endless loops.
A gradual redesign
Our design approach was to keep the branding front and center while simplifying the site overall. We removed many of the extra elements and simplified the color palette to create a clearer page structure with more of an obvious hierarchy.
